    aik melay mein pohoncha humakta hua

    ji machalta tha har ik shay pe magar
    jaib khali thi, kuch mol na le saka

    laut aya liye hasratain sainkron
    aik chota sa larka tha main jin dino

    khair mehroomion ke woh din tou gaye
    aaj maila laga hai usi shan se

    ji mein ata hai ik ik dukan mol loon
    jo main chahoon tou sara jahan mol loon



    naarsayi ka ab ji mein dharka kahan
    par woh chota sa alhar sa larka kahan?
