ہم سب ایک ایسے واقعے کے عواقب اور نتائج دیکھ رہے ہیں جو پاکستان اور امریکہ کے درمیان موجود ہمارے پیچیدہ تعالقات کا امتحان لے رہا ہے۔ ایسے واقعات پہلے بھی سامنے آ چُکے ہیں جن کی وجہ سے دونوں ممالک کے بیچ کافی غَلَط فہمیاں اور تناو پیدا ہوا لیکن پھر بھی دونوں ممالک کے سربراہ ان مشکلات کا سامنا اور ان کو حل کرنے کی کوششیں جاری رکھ رہے ہیں۔ اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ دونوں ممالک کو اس بات کا علم ہے کہ کیا کچھ داو پر لگا ہے۔ دونوں ممالک کو ایک ساتھ کام کرنے اور تعاون برقرار رکھنے کی ضرورت ہے کیونکہ افغانستان میں امن و سلامتی قائم رکھنے سے ہی پاکستان کے قومی مفاد حاصل کیئے جاسکتے ہیں۔ بون کانفرنس پاکستان اور افغانستان کے لیے ایک ایسا سنہرا موقع ہے جس کے تحت دونوں ممالک شدت پسند گروہوں اور امن مزاکرات جیسے پیچیدہ معاملات پر تبادلہ خیال کر کے اس کا حل دریافت کرسکیں۔ افغانستان کا مستقبل اس کے ہمسائیہ ممالک کے لیے بہت اہم ہے اور اس بات کی تصدیق ہم نے، افغان حکومت نے اورخود آپ کے اپنے سربراہوں نے کی ہے کہ افغانستان میں دائمی امن پاکستان کی مدد کے بغیر حاصل نہیں کیا جاسکتا۔ ہم پاکستان کی حکومت اور عوام کی ناراضگی سمجھ سکتے ہیں لیکن ہمیں اس بات پر تعجب ہے کہ بون کانفرنس میں حصہ نہ لینے سے پاکستان کو کیا فائدہ حاصل ہو سکتا ہے؟ اگر پاکستان کی حکومت یہ قبول کرتی ہے کہ پاکستان کی بحالی کی خاطر ہی افغانستان میں امن قائم کرنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے تو کیا اس کانفرنس میں شرکت نہ کرنے سے صرف اور صرف پاکستان کا ہی نقصان نہیں ہوگا کیونکہ مستقبل میں طالبان کے ساتھ امن مزاکرات کے مسائل سے انہیں بھی نمٹنا ہوگا؟

US has alway trampled upon Pakistani interests over the past 60 years and never lived upto its commitments and expectations. If US was that keen to help Pakistan, why did it attack the Pakistani Post and kill so many innocent Pakistanis. I would not agree that this Bonn conf is really of great benefit to Pakistan. In these large conferences Pakistan has always been side lined or ignored. This Bonn conf. is an arena to trap Pakistan into more commitments and bindings all directed to weaken its position.

Pakistan should not attend, and that is the correct attitude of the Govt. Pakistan can not take any more of this humiliation and killings. Raymond Davis, has he been tried in a court of Law there in US for the murders he committed, and as promised by the US Govt. No he has not been.

US promises are just words and no substance. Reject them totally and fully. Pakistan should independently stand on its feet and follow an independent policy on matters of national importance.

Bonn conf. is a no go area for Pakistan. The Supply line shut down should be made a permanent feature. The message should be we are not going to be fooled again and over again.

I heard somewhere that Pakistan has only blocked partial supply. They should go ahead and shut all supply routes on permanent basis. These selfish americans will only do what is in their interest so why Pakistan has to pay the price. Pakistan has to stand up now. americans cant do nothing. We can very well survive without american "peanuts" aid.

I hope our establishment shows some guts and stand on their feet. We will whole heartedly support and back them. What have they got to loose then when the whole nation is on their back

First of all your column started with a big lie. Aik asay waqaya. No buddy it was not the ONE incident, but a series of incidents. So stop the lies and get serious if you really want a peace. For that you need to do actions and not some lip service. If I were you I could have started from an Official apology with no strings attached and then a compensation for all the soldiers who died recently and before that.
If you can do these two things first then I can give you a list of things to do in future on how to WIN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE, if you are really sincere?????

Its not misunderstanding. Its 100% intentional to test PAKISTAN reaction. PAKISTAN should revisit its relation with america . we don't need america we can survive with out america but i doubt that if america can survive in afghanistan without us. We know taliban are real threat for this region especially and if we can't progress with a destabilized neighbor but america's bull**** policies are unbearable for us as they are destabilizing this region more and more. Infect america don't want peace here.
