The women journalists reportedly lodged a complain against him. On the other hand, the way he humiliated a responsible minister just because of her gender was disliked by everyone.

Nusrat Javed said that he was asked by the management whether he wanted to continue with his programme or was interested in saving lives of 600 employees, working in the channel’s Karachi headquarters.
When contacted, Aaj TVs Chief Operating Officer Shahab Zubairi said the impression being aired on TV channels was wrong because Nusrat is still a respectable member of the channel. He also said that management had no intention to sack him. However, speaking in Hamid Mir’s programme, MQM leaders Haider Abbas Rizvi and Faisal Sabzwari categorically stated that no telephone call has been made to Aaj TV management or its Director News for any action against Nusrat.
