| Re: Capital Talk 24th July 2008 Do participate here guys Competition- Write a Column This man javed hashmi I have good respect for him coz of his charachter so far has not seen any scandle against him. Plus his stance not to take oath from Musharaf. Two Politicians Raza Rabani of PPP & Javed Hashmi of PML N both are highly respected personalities Last edited by NoToRi0uS; 07-25-2008 at 04:32 AM. |

| Re: Capital Talk 24th July 2008 Judges cannot be restored before Musharaf's exit. If the govt attempts to restore judges Mush will pre-empt it by dissolving assemblies, because the first thing that the judges will do after restoration is to declare Mush's election void. Hence the delay. Now it was clear that PPP will eventually throw out Mush after Bush is replaced in the White House by Democrat Obama the coming Nov. But now the news is in the air that Mush may be made to quit even earlier, once the US backs off from supporting him, in the after-math of PM Gillani's visit to Washington. And then may be Judges will also be restored. commoner added 13 Minutes and 30 Seconds later... @Notorious I agree that Javed Hashmi is relatively clean in PMLN camp, except for his stint as Minister in the Martial Law regime of Gen Zia. But I am sorry to say that upright leaders are not appreciated by awam in general. JH's may be principled but the vote bank unfortunately belongs to none other than Nawaz Sharif. JH cannot be the head of PMLN until we have uninterrupted democracy for atleast two decades without Army's interferance. The same stands for Atezaz Ehsan and Reza Rabbani. | Re: Capital Talk 24th July 2008 Every party has nice slogans; Roti, Kapra aur Makan, Independent Judiciary, Islamic Law etc… but nobody is able to deliver even when in power. I wonder what is missing. I think it is sincere Neyat. In my view Intention = Results If I am not happy with my results I rather look within me and clarify my intention instead of blaming others. |

| Re: Capital Talk 24th July 2008 Sometime I think that which party is the most opportunistic and hypocritical of them all. 1) MQM which operates like a mafia and ignites/creates and plays upon the differences between communities. 2) JUI - a set of beard clad hypocritical mullas who blackmail ordinary people in the name of religion. 3) PPP - A set of bhutto ass kissers and corrupt people who think they can fool anyone by chanting Jiye Bhutto. 4) PML-N - Tends to go for the populist opinion and does not have a good international outlook. 5) PML-Q - Nooras and maajhay. 6) PTI - Idealists but principled. For me it is a tie between JUI and MQM. I think I would say that JUI is the worst becasue they have a whorish attitude to support whosoever is willing to buy them. Whereas everyone already knows (even karachites) the tricks and ways of MQM. |

| Re: Capital Talk 24th July 2008 Feel so frustrated after watching this program. Whats the purpose of having a free country? What was the last time when we were not told that, Pakistan is passing through a critical stage, pakistan's sovereignty is at stake?. Pakaistan nai tou kuch bhi nai, well I would say its all bull ****. PPP, MQM et al. are putting this fear to veil their incompetence, their incapability to deliver peace and justice and secure the rights of the common person. This all uncertain situation on the boarders, so called talibinization, Al-qaida threats, these all are to their benefit. They would never want all of them to shed away. MQM and other want APC to discuss boarder situation, WTF, this is another pethatic attempt by them to divert the attention, and meanwhile enjoy the power and loot the country. If this is all gov is going to do, then I am sorry, I don't want to live in Pakistan. |
