Re: Kal Tak 17th October 2008 with Imran Khan

Musharrafs rule was highly corrupted and people who have been in his system can tell the true story that how housing schemes, loans, land grab, smuggling was rampant and how the privatization fraud was orchestrated. People like Daniyal Aziz and many others who were part of mush govt admit that. Ch. Ifthikar did the right thing to stand up, a move lauded by mush's ex- close friends. Imran will do the right thing if he stands his ground in his issue.
Imran Khan should just play good politics; God willing he will succeed.

Then we should also appreciate PPP little less than PML-N because they
brought at least 80% judges back.

Had PPP sacrified its ministries in Punjab like PML-N in center, I would have
equally appreciated them too. After all Punjab is half of Pakistan.

He is perfect photocopy of Aitzaz Ahsan. Both are classical political slaves.

They (Aitzaz, Hashmi) should ask themselves what they have achieved from struggle of
whole of their lives. **Still slaves**. On the other hand, Imran Khan started later and
stands much taller than them

Army is stopping CJ from coming back or is it PPP/ANP ?

This is the true face of hypocrates, Sharif brothers, who used the so-called lawyers movement to advance their own agenda of "revenge against Musharraf at all cost". Now the government has retired Chaudry Iftikhar, let's see what kind of stand they will take since this was one of their key issue to get elected.

I agree. Look at where Pakistan was in Feb '07 before this so-called lawyers movement and where we are today in terms of law and order, economics, and politcial situation. Country's security and economic situation is in deep trouble, and crooks like Zardari and Sharif are back to haunt the nation. I hope this is just a bad dream.

Re: Kal Tak 17th October 2008 with Imran Khan

There's a phrase in english "spoils of the war"......Lawyers started a war against Mush and the spoils of that war are being enjoyed by both PMLN & PPP.
Iftikhar Chaudhary is History now..... he came to power by PCO-1 and sent home in PCO-2..... PERIOD.
People should stop comparing Hashmi saab with Aitzaz.......I respect Hashmi saab a lot but I am sorry to say that both are slaves of their respective masters.... no backbone.

Re: Kal Tak 17th October 2008 with Imran Khan

As far as Hashmi and Aitezaz being political slaves is concerned, I would have no doubt in this. But treating Hashmi and Aitezaz at the same frequency is not justified. Hashmi is much taller in terms of character than Aitezaz. Aitezaz not only betrayed the lawyers but he betrayed the whole nation. Now there is no lawyer movement and this crook Aitezaz is nowhere to be seen.

Another point worth mentioning is the behaviour of PTI's jiyalas on this forum. I personally appreciate I K for his views by and large but you could still disagree with him, his politics or any of his stances on issues. Inasmuch, I agree with NOTORIOUS that to this date this is a one man show and this is not good for a political party.

And lastly plz do not reject others' criticism against I K as rubbish or etc. because it does not help build a good democratic image. If people on this forum could blame NS for being so lame (which he actually has become), call bad names to Zaradari and Altaf (which they actually deserve), why cant they criticise I K. He is not a holy cow. Remember this is not PTI's personal forum but a national one where each one of us enjoys equal respect regardless of our differing opinions. The more tolerant you are against criticism the better chances you have to win over hearts and minds.

well said " Jiyalas of IK" well all should understand that no one is perfect neither IK, nor NS or anyone else but at the same time one should not compare them & as far slaves by respecting decisions of party one does not come slave then what about those who don't want to listen against IK? are they also mentally salves ??

Have not seen any PTI leader or speaker anywhere except IK, I ageer that Imran is raising his voice & approaching People but my question is why he does not allow anyone else to come over ?
while all IK fans criricise other parties for many things but at the same time all things are there in PTI, no elections, one man show, no other leader so I can say he is doing Politics of Qazi Hussain Ahmad as we have seen many times same tactics of emotional statements with masala of different surveys. How many common people are allowed to raise questions in dinner organised by IK ??
Well simply he is popular but so far he has not proved himself a good & matured leader.

Could you give the name of popular figures Z.A. Bhutto had with him when
he went for his first election?

Aitzaz, Khar, Hafeez Pirzada etc etc all were kids at that time and whoever
Z.A. Bhutto gave ticket won election not because of their personality but the
leader they were fighting election under.

By the Q-league had the biggest figures of Pakistan, why did it fail and not
respected in public?

You can't see perhaps your kids after 30 years like you and me are seeing now.

You are right. IK will be proved much better than ZA in history and it 's too
early to make comparison because ZA has played his turn and IK has to.

So far what is evident is that IK supported a dictator 3 years than 11 years and refused
to become foreign minister or PM of him.
