I admire MJH. He is the one who spend time in jail for his stance rather than leaving the country thru a deal to live in a comfortable palace in Jeddah. He deserves the top slot of PML-N more than the Sharif brothers.

Javed hashmi remained cool in a very hard hitting interview. Iftekhar raised good questions and most of the replies of hashmi were satisfactory

he is a sincere man but mian sahib put his all wieght behind ch. Nisar Ali Khan, because he does enjoy his good relation with army and javed is considered anti-army person. Instead of ch. Nisar he should have been made leader of opposition .

He has been ignored for many times. Is Mian affraid of him or dont believe in him?? I think there is something between them.

well I have Great respect for this man, he seems to me a man of Prinzips, & always straight & Clear points, dont twist words.

as far leader of the opposition, I guess both are of equal weight, may be Nisar has bit edge on Hashmi but I don't think so that he ( Nasar ) is a bad choice .
yeh no doubt he has good relations with army, his brother is retd Gen & I guess he was in defence ministry during Nawaz Gov.

In Sharfo shah era, I think Nisar was never put in jail,
he enjoyed his house arrest position
while the other leadership including hashmi were sent into jail
and had been tourcherd badly.
Nisar might not a bad choice
but I think having person like hashmi Mian Sahib should have not put his weight behind Nisar.

Javed hashmi is really one of the great persons i have seen, he never backed away from what he said and he never will ... he is a man worthy of respect ...

As for the opp leader, i think Nisar is also fine, although Javed Hashmi deserved this position, who knows maybe he himself backed out on this ...

Save family !!!!!!! must be a joke. Javed Hashmi's family was here in Pakistan too and not living in luxurious palace in Jeddah like Sharif family.

The Sharif brothers are treating and ignoring MJH the same way as Zardari treating Makhdoom Ameen Faheem. The Sharif brothers fear Javed Hashmi becuase he is a grass roots politician from his student life compared to Sharif brothers who were cultivated and imposed by an Army General in 80s.

If my memory serves me right, Sharif, his brother, his son/son in laws, in other words most of the men in his family were put in jail ... I don't recall any of MJH family members were in jail ... he was alone ...

BTW, i do agree that MJH is a great politician and was even a student leader in his time, but still he accepts Nawaz as his president ... If you say that Sharif brothers were brought in by an Army General then why is Javed Hashmi (anti - army person) is working under him, can't he use his brain and make his own party ...
