Assalam-o-Alaikum ALL,

The program speaks for itself.

Gen. Hamid Gul told the reality on the ground. His point of view affirms what religious political parties and PTI are saying.

The human rights activist, who I think is more of a person who works for spreading propaganda against nuclear stuff in Pakistan was spreading his usual BS.

He was of the view that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal is a "liability". This infuriated me to a level where I literally wanted to throw him out of the country.

There should be no doubt now. If the former DG ISI is confirming it, then it is cent percent truth.

I agree with the human rights activist. He is has mature analysis and the realistic picture of what is happening, whether it be our dealings with terrorist groups or it be the nuclear issue. Our nukes cant help us with anything in the world and it is a dangerous weapon to keep. Soviet the super power with nukes collapsed, Israel a nuclear nation was attacked by Egypt Although our nukes help us with the classic (MAD) mutually assured destruction theory. That is if India is out to destroy us, it will get destroyed. Other than that we should know that democracies don't and has never gone to war against each other. Thus democracy is the biggest hedge against war or India's threat. Conventional forces, diplomatic connections, and economy is the only thing that defends you at the end of the day.

Speaking of Hamid Gul, he is an emotional fool whose ideas have kept Pakistan behind and will not get it nowhere. His indo-isreal-fobia and america-fobia will ruin us. Everything he preaches is being used against us by the terrorists / taliban, whether it be tactical or the ideological he is the mastermind and the father of all this menace.

P.S. keep the nukes but be mature about it. nukes won't help against taliban aggression or conventional war.

Nukes r not meant to deter enemies at home but to keep balance of power in the region. Twice nukes barred india to attack pakistan in 01 after Lok sabha attack and in 11.08 after Bomby attacks.

general hamid gul made a very fundamental point for pakistan, we need to decide whether pakistan is secular or islamic country, until then we will stay divided,
