I think it was champagne she was holding in the glass she walked away with. Because champagne is a sparkling wine and people usually have it while smoking. ( But I could be totally wrong about her).

No body condemn her smoking or drinking action, if she did at all.

It was intended to show that we are liberal and enlightened and should
not be put in category of extremists or hard liners.

I think, its personal life, what if some male is smoking over there.. then it wouldnt have been that hot news. I hate women smoking.
