I don't hate IK. I appreciate his social work. I don't appreciate his un-informed support for Sharia of FAzlullah Molvei. he is pawn for religious extremist who is using him and his blind follower.

he can speak well, and present case, but some really fundamental disconnect in what he profess and what he practice. He is dangerous bcos lots of young pakistani listen to him and idolize him. But he make immature and irresponsible statements.

He should get Ulema Deen as advisor who should advise him on these matter. Right now he is like a lay person, who thinks he can make statements bcos he's given the mike (for reason that he is great national sports hero and a philanthropist)...

Bill gates have no right to start commenting on the Catholic system, even though he is most successful business man of century. Similarly, qualification in one field (sports, social welfare) does NOT translate to qualification in other area (pontification about Shariat!)

this interview has left me confused about ik. Talking to fareed, he is worried about 'shrinnking space for moderates' but when he is talking to pakistani jouralists he ridicules moderates and associates himself with JI.
Actual quote from Lewis Caroll is "if you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there". I think IK used it incorrectly. But my point is that pakistani people do know where we need to go: they want a progressive, just and free society and nobody shoud be allowed to take them for a ride to fulfill their own agenda... not nawaz and not zardari.
Also since when does IK give any credence to what karzai thinks. The mayor of kabul is not relevant in present situation of afganistan.

My dear Brother, with respect I disagree. If our nation is aware of where they want to be, they had not chosen PPP third time, and I can bet, if today this govt collapses then next PM will be nawaz sharif, We are the most stupid nation in the world,
you might have company of educated people and may not have to spend much time to convey your logic to them but, go and see Jialas of PPP and for other parties.

Good points raised. If you notice Imran Khan tailors his message based on his audience. I don't have problem with changing the way he explains it, but he actually changes the essence of his message.

Just yesterday on Meray Mutabiq he was ridiculing "moderates" and calling people "Maghreb Zaday" and taunting them why Sharia is so bad.

Today, on CNN, for Amreeki audience, he is sounding like Zardari. He is worried about "shrinking space for moderates".

I personally believe IK is a moderate person, but he is the most confused little monkey when it comes to politics. He doesn't know whether he's coming or he's going.

I have very sincere request to Imran Khan:

Please, take a week off, go into completely safe mountains of Swat and spend a few days with nature. Alone. Think about what exactly you stands for.

Then come back, tell us.

Don't be afraid that Fazllua will behead you if you say something aginast this "make believe truck-driver sharia" ... be a man! Say you're a moderate if you really are!

Don't make fun of Moderates on Geo, and pretend to be one on CNN!
