I want to share some of the CONS of the latest advancing technology:

LAZINESS
laziness has prevailed. People have become more & more lazy these days. Surely, who would like to waste time in buying a CD (for example) when you can get the songs with a single click???
ATTENTION HAS DIVERTED DUE TO FAST PACE of EVERYTHING
For example someone talking on the mobile while driving and could meet with a brutal/ life threatening accident.
HACKING/PLAGIARISM
Hacking is the most common “sophisticated” crime nowadays. It has engulfed a major chunk of the young and talented pool of today.
VIRUSES inflicting our COMPUTER DATA
Every second day there is a new type of deadly software virus which we are made aware of.
NOT FOR EVERYONE
Modern inventions and techniques are not for everyone. It’s only a rich man’s dream to fly a personal jet with all the latest gadgets fitted in it. I feel technological advances are also widening the gap between the various classes of the society. I fear that this might cause unrest amongst the underprivileged or the less privileged section of society and lead to more crimes and disparity.
DEATH & DESTRUCTION
And how can we forget Hiroshima. Throughout most of the world, the name Hiroshima has come to represent man’s technological capacity for massive destruction. Hiroshima opened the door upon a new world, a world in which it is possible for humanity to destroy itself by its own inventions. Hiroshima was the world’s first look at a technology that could destroy countries, end civilization, and foreclose a human future.

First of all nice thread with an interesting topic.

I'd like share one very funny and interesting incident which happened few days ago.
I was at some store, a man was using ATM machine to take some cash out.
He selected $100, as he pressed Yes to complete the transaction, machine sucked back $100 (5 $20 bills).
He got the receipt that you have withdrawn this much amount now your balance is this but he didn't get any money.
I don't know what happened later on but at that time he was like slapping, hitting, jolting the machine
