Kids mostly run away from fruits and healthy meals.. what mothers do? They always confused with their kids tiffin. I will suggest for your kids a cute "fruit pizza" which kids like to eat specially when you told them - Baby I will make pizza for your tomorrow's lunch box.
1. 1bar sponge cake or sweet whole meal bread, sliced into 3/4 inch thick slices
2. 4 tsp honey
3. 1 cup thick curd
4. 2 cups assorted fresh fruit (apples,grapes, raspberries,strawberries, blueberries, raspberries,bananas, kiwi fruit, oranges, mangoes etc)
5. 1 cup almonds skinned and toasted.
step1- Line a sieve or little colander with a clean muslin fabric and hang over a dish. Place yogurt in covered sieve, protect and refrigerate for at least 24 hours. step2- Remove from fridge, eliminate water/liquid and transfer yoghurt into a little containers.
step3- Mix well in2 tsp. honey and cool until required, spread yoghurt mixture evenly over piece of cake and organize fruit on top if you like. Spread with roasted nuts flakes.
You could protect this with a piece of bread to make a fruit food for easy packaging.
