Dr. Mehdi Hasan is an educated man. He was right when he said we need to design a long term strategy and role of parliament should be the key. However, what to do with those people who were radicalized over the last three decades.
You can contain a limited number of people using force, but extensive and prolonged use of military would create more enemies than friends.

What would be the exit strategy for the army after this extensive and broad-based engagement across Pakistan. On the other side of the border, Americans have started a major offensive and on this side army has to stay engaged. But the objective should be to secure borders. No one should be allowed to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan.
However, this would only possible if they have focused position in this area. Right now the army is fighting every where, Swat, Dir, Buner, Malakand, Bannu, Khyber, Bajaur, Waziristan, Kurram...................... I have not mentioned any area of Balochistan so far.
Simply this is not sustainable. Pakistan needs to understand and come out of this mess quickly

The target should be to capture the top leadership and total elimination of middle level leadership of terrorits. Foot soldiers should be defeated and later rehabilitated by providing employment oppurtunities. Having said that however we should hope for a short war but be prepared for a long one. It took 27 year for army to finally overcome the terrorists in Sri Lanka, we should keep that in mind.

The choice for Pakistan is to choose between two models: Somalia or Algeria.

Before watching this show completely, if I am allowed to speculate, I would say that;

- the bombings taking place recently are being done by pawns of General McCrystal of USA.

- the bombing on Bus of Kahoota is an “operation” from General McCrystal of USA, who has recently been assigned to operate in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

I say that, because it is widely known in international media that General McCrystal has established his credibility as the man for conducting “targetted killings” in Iraq. He has done his work successfully in Iraq.

I would go as far as to speculate, that General McCrystal is behind ALL the suicide bombings and killings that have taken place in recent months.

His profile matches these incidents and his appointment by US to operate in this region is further evidence of the same.

He’s the dog USA is using for targeted killings/assassinations in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

It’s the science of terror to manipulate opinions of the masses to facilitate US/Nato’s / Israel’s / Neocon’s agenda.

I don’t think hitting a bus carrying Kahoota personnel can be done by anyone inside Pakistan. No criminal, even if he’s a Pakistani will do it. There is no history of any such incidents, there’s no evidence of any such incident in the past.

The only elements capable of conducting this bombing are foreign elements i.e., Pakistan’s enemies -> they are -> USA/Israel, India.

The only one who can benefit from such incidents are USA/Israel, India

This is my speculation, before watching this video completely

what a waste of nation and generations 30 years we build up these ideology and now we are ready for another 30 years to change this ideology , who said we are very good nation ? we are poor people, super power using us since we born and continue we and our socalled politicians are playing under their hands and if tomorrow we decide to go for election i bet we gona elect the same bloody bastar* so problem is where ? ofcourse in our brain who never able to decide what exactly we need , course books never lead you towards a bright future and powerfull nation , you have to have healthy brain with new ideas then you can become the bright nation on the planet , so far i dont see and i feel so sad how poor we are , Ratalization people

This war is America's war against Islam and Muslims. Zardari and Musharraf joined this only for their material benefit.
Pakistanis are suffering because of our government's wrong policies.
