maybe i might help u a lil, however the threads at Help Corner r always checked by the admin Ammy. he can guide u more appropriately & properly
whenever u wanna add a pdf file at FK, its max size must be less than or equal to almst 6.5mb (i guess).
the files uploaded by members are uploaded after moderation/approval from the mods. there is a button "add new file" e.g in the link given below:
"Urdu Novels - Downloads - FriendsKorner - Pakistani Media Forum"
using this procedure u can link the file if its uploaded on any other "file sharing site" or upload files via computer. however the files would be uploaded after approval. the files uploaded via computer are saved in ur attachments.

now if u wanna add files via posting through "threads" u can follow both the above mentioned procedures i.e 'upload via computer or through other file sharing website'. this doesn't require moderation. i guess again=)
for example u can see the following link: "Urdu Books and Novels" here is a button "post new thread" & there u go.

u c i might be wrong in conveying what i wanna say but i have tried sorting out ur prob. or u can wait till the admins c ur post & help u out

2. Put "Title", "Author name" and some description.
3. Select Category as you like... "Urdu Novels"
4. Click on Browser to upload file from your PC, no need to fill other next two fields.
5. Click on Add File
6. It will take time to upload depend on your Internet uploading speed and then it will post automatically.
7. PDF file size limit depend on Usergroup basis.
