It would be good if you could look into this. Actually, the crap happened when;

I read alot of tutorials XDA-Developers and HTC Desire forums about Rooting of HTC Desire with Froyo. But, before rooting my desire I upgraded to Froyo to GingerBread by the official software updater available at HTC mail website. There was nothing wrong during the process and after completion everything was working fine except teh Flash Light which was not working any more.

Then, I Rooted my GingerBread , UnRooted, Rolled Back to Froyo and Flashed dozens of ROMS but none of them was able to get Flash Light back in working condition. I have been on it for months but just useless .. No clue about this even on XDA
